Welcome to GreenCyber®

GreenCyber® helps organisations reduce the environmental impact and improve the sustainability of digital infrastructure, while maintaining strong cybersecurity.

GreenCyber® addresses two of today’s biggest global challenges: accelerating climate change and the unchecked advance of emerging tech.

Originally a research project by Professor Richard Benham, GreenCyber® became a registered trademark in 2021 and evolved into a not-for-profit organisation in 2024. It now promotes practical standards, drives research, and convenes experts through the GreenCyber® Summit.

Backed by government recognition, being a recommendation within the 2024 McPartland Report, GreenCyber® leads the call for technology that is both Secure by Design and Green by Design, proving that sustainability and security can go hand in hand.
